We took a bus, then a plane, then another bus, then a train, then another train but we made it to Kristyn's house with no problem. We're at Kristyn's house in Kyoto!!!
Her place is made for a family of four, so it's pretty big. Last night she and her man Yoshi took us out for Okonomiyaki, a grill-it-yourself cabbage and egg and you-pick-the-toppings dish, which we both think would make great drunk food in the US. You get little spatulas and fry a giant pancake thing at your table and add hot sauce, mayo, and fish powder. Sweet. Except for the mayo.
Chris and I woke up today and Kristyn was at work (teaching English), but she left us a breakfast of yogurt and granola. No osteoporosis for us. We love Kristyn!
